04/01/2025 Reported littering and community response
A resident shared concerns about littering, highlighting strong community care for the Tulliallan Avenue of Elms.

08/12/2025 Reported honey bee swarm
A honey bee swarm was observed at the Tulliallan Avenue of Elms and reported to Council by Friends of the Tulliallan Elms. When Council attended the site the following day, the swarm had already moved on naturally.

05/05/2024 Reported motorised vehicle activity
Residents reported an all-terrain vehicle driving through the Tulliallan Avenue of Elms. Friends of the Tulliallan Elms responded by advising the neighbourhood via community Facebook groups that motorised vehicles are not permitted in the area under Council regulations.

13/04/2024 Reported drug use at the barbecue shelter
Residents reported repeated drug use at the barbecue shelter over several evenings around 6.00 pm. Friends of the Tulliallan Elms reported the matter to the Narre Warren South Police Station, and the activity subsequently ceased.

07/04/2024 Nocturnal wildlife observed
Possums continue to be observed at the Tulliallan Avenue of Elms. They are a natural part of the local wildlife and, as nocturnal animals, are typically only seen at night.

23/01/2024 Branch removal completed
Following earlier reports of fallen branches, Council attended the site and arranged for their removal. Friends of the Tulliallan Elms monitored the outcome to ensure the area was made safe.

17/01/2024 Reported fallen tree branch
Residents raised concerns in our community Facebook group about a fallen tree branch. Friends of the Tulliallan Elms visited the site and contacted Casey Council to request removal of the branch and an inspection by a Council arborist. Thank you to residents for reporting the issue and helping keep the area safe.

07/01/2024 Community concerns about maintenance timing
Residents raised concerns in our community Facebook group about delays in the routine maintenance cycle, noting extended grass growth along the Tulliallan Avenue of Elms. Friends of the Tulliallan Elms acknowledged the concerns and continued engaging with Andrea Szymanski, Head of Open Space & City Greening, City Presentation, City of Casey to rectify the situation.

18/12/2023 Tulliallan Primary School community picnic
Tulliallan Primary School held a community picnic under the Tulliallan Avenue of Elms, with students, families, and staff gathering to enjoy the space. The event highlighted the Elms as a valued place for community connection and shared use.

11/01/2022 Deceased possums reported by resident
A resident shared a post in our community Facebook group reporting the discovery of two deceased possums at the Tulliallan Avenue of Elms. The entry is included here as a record of resident observations at the time.

10/06/2021 Wasp nest reported
A resident reported a fallen wasp nest at the Tulliallan Avenue of Elms and alerted the community to take care when moving through the area. The nest was reported to Council by the resident, and this entry records the community notice and shared awareness.
